SOunds like DIC have been around for months now, and alot more talks have been ongoing that we were to realise.
Surely the yanks, if they had no intent to sell, would have told DIC when they first came on the scene to be off.
of course it could have been G & H aproaching DIC to see if they wanted a minority stake. Still though, none the less, they are looking to reduce their stake, if not totally sell out.
On top of that, since DIC have started talking to the club, Hicks has spectacularly fell out with supporters and Rafa.

And Hicks has himself admitted to talks with DIC.

No. I meant away from here. I just have this feeling that the deal can be done for HICKS if the money is right. I don't think Gillett will sell though.

Gillett is the lesser of 2 evils, we'll take care of him if needs be. He has kept a low profile and apart from wading cash at the start, he seems a genuine* guy.

There's nothing to divulge. Just a general impression from talking to people. A lot of people are being proactive and putting the clubs best interests at heart. I feel quite ashamed to say I've done feck all so far whereas others are pulling out all the stops. It's time for action.

As per Garry Richardson's revelation yesterday morning on Sportsweek. It seems pretty certain that the deal will be done and that Waldorf and Statler are holding out for more money. The Yanks want out, DIC want in and a compromise will be made. I just hope that when the Muppets leave that they take Rick Parry with them.
