A right winger should be chipping in with at least 10 goals a season. Pires did this consistently at Arsenal. Right wingers have to attack the back post and I can guarantee they can score 6 or 7 out of the 10 from tap ins with the amount of loose balls at the back stick.

Pennant lacks consistency, that's his main problem. But he's a good player. It's not by chance that he was one if not the most sought out player when he was 15 years old! He always had an attitude problem to knuckle down to hard work when he was younger.

But I feel he's acquitted himself very well in his time with us. He would easily command a £7m fee if Rafa wants to offload him. He's justified his price tag for me.

With all due respect, I would take everythin said on that podcast with a huge pinch of salt.

Incidentally, although I do not know whether there is an option period attached to the sale of Gillette's shares that can expire, I do know that it is not legally possible for DIC to dilute Hicks' holding unless either he agrees - which I don't think he would - or there is already an agreement in place allowing the holder of Gillette's shares to in effect dilute Hicks' shares - and I would be very surprised if such an agreement exists. Therefore, Ballague is talking rubbish. Having established that, how much credibility does the est have.
