Well, in fairness, I'm not really too interested in entering into this debateOriginally posted by elvoz View Postif i knew what a pre wotsit was id tell you
fact is we are 4th - no better in the league
houllier ended up tellin everyone we had more corners than the opposition at one stage - just before any of you start
I just don't think it's particularly useful to judge our progress in the CL by stating that we "only got to the semi-finals this year". Our record in Europe under Benitez is unquestionable and embarrasses the likes of Ferguson's and Wenger's.

We have clearly progressed this year.
We have (yet again) had a great run in Europe, we have one of the most promising set of young players in Europe in the reserves, we have Torres and Babel is settling in nicely too. We keep buying centre backs around the £5m mark that are worth twice as much and we've qualified for the CL again despite the farce of a boardroom we have at present.
It's good to have different opinions in every debate because it shows just how wrong some of us could become if we took our eye off the ball.

I don't see what abusing people with visual impairment will achieve but it makes about as much sense as the rest of your 'argument.'Originally posted by elvoz View Postand indeed how one eyed some fans are

Yep, he's brought some ****e, but most of them have been light weights in other deals, but you have to admit, when he's get it's right, he really gets it right.
Name me a manager who hasn't brought ****e players?
We can't blow 50 million on 3 players in the transfer window, ala the mancs, we have to wheel and deal in the market, therefore we get the best of a bad bunch, and until the day we get taken over by someone with money, over the course of a season, week in, week out, we will always struggle to achieve consistency of the top two.Reece, get off my wife.:whatever:

Hmmm, Wiltord, Reyes, Veron, Saha, Shevchenko and you're crucifying Rafa over £7mil or so on Pennant when we had very little option and will probably get most of it back.
Like another poster said I really must stop feeding the trolls.
