theres no way criticizing a manager for his tactics is wrong because he knows better than you, so what if he does, but theres no hiding the fact that we need to play a more adventurous game against the lesser teams. I'd love to see us pass a team out the game like arse or man u, were extremely capable of doing it and and dont see why we dont do it week in week out. we scored 119 goals last year or something like that anyway, showing we dont play 'boring football' and its only a week into the season, things will improve.

im not saying that in grinding out results we wont do well, as we may well do. yeah we won our first game but no-one can deny we werent at our best, and that we need to improve. its easy enough saying that if we win it'll be ok but we were lucky to win last week, plain and simple and we were lucky against leige to get a draw. were better than this and i hope we improve against boro because dont tell me you wont be worried if we stuggle to beat these nobodies. oh and i dont give a **** how man utd played they won the league and champions league last year and were better than us, if were ever going to win the league we need to be better than everybody in every game not just on par or a bit behind.

Rafa does it away in Europe to his credit or maybe he just plays his normal game and it's perfect for Europe. I agree teams need tactics, but if you have better players you should have confidence to go and get at them a little bit.

esp when you are at home. Sometimes that arsenal mentality of letting the opposition worry about you rather than the other way round would really benefit us

I was pretty annoyed today, because we really didn't pass it, we didn't move, we didn't have any imagination, we didn't have any pattern of play, any penetration or any composure on the ball. It makes me wonder whether the lads spend the week training or just listening to instructions on how to "stop the opposition".... it's sad really. Our style of play really sucks (Boro played more football than us) and like under Houllier the plan is always to "control the game" ie "don't concede" and then hope on of your stars will pop up with something.

So? That's not how they normally play and besides it's first we want not 3rd so Arsenal are neither here nor there for us - they were also missing Fabregas and Diaby their two CM... what we played today isn't far from the norm for us. Our style of play is appalling, ale house at times. Our two wide men today were worse than Boro's!
