Me too.I can accept posts about Rafa's failings from certain posters as long as those same people are forthcoming with their praise when he gets it right.

The thing I found laughable was that Rage went offline instead of staying on here to enjoy the result with fellow reds.You can bet your life if we'd lost he wouldn't have gone anywhere and would have been is his full negative flow.

If you really are a supporter why can't you enjoy a result instead of picking holes in it.Being a "supporter" is supposed to bring joy not depression.

I give praise where its due. My praise gets lost in most threads with the praise of others and does not provoke a response. I praised torres, arbeloa, riera and even kuyt after the game. I crticised our tactics that meant we were losing 2 nil and applauded the manner in which we went out in the second half with our inhibitions removed. I think dossena is a fat overweight flattens to deceive full back whilst skertl is a monster.

i want rafa sacked if he fails to compete for the title this year. 5 years will have been long enough to compete as far as i'm concerned. I do not see the problem with these views as i provide reason for them. at least i'm not calling people names or opening threads to specifically criticise people.

as i've stated numerous times i will be overjoyed if rafa leads us to number 19 but if he is out of the race by xmas then i won't lose any sleep if he's sacked. even if you disagree with this opinion it is valid.

To be fair though (and I'm not pro-Maureen at all), Fergie only got ManU to two CL finals in 15 years, that's not always a great barometer. Plus, well there's the Porto thing. And Maureen would have got Chelsea to the CL final if it wasn't for us

admittedly he has blown a massive amount of money on players but the players that made the difference for him when they won the league the first year are comparable to the spending of other teams. I may be wrong here but saying maureen won the title because the other two were rebuilding is really unfair on the man.

he won the title because:

he inherited a good set of players to build on and made them better.
he bought well the first year
he is a good manager

and he had the luxury of money to make mistakes with and still get by

I was talking about when Maureen left, they'd had one of their worst starts to the season in bladdy ages, Avram Grant (who?) took over and got them right back in the title chase and to a CL final which Maureen hadn't managed in his time.
It could be argued even with the money he still had to win the title, however I think Avrams season shows him up as the average manager he is.

In Ranieri's final season, Chelsea actually finished 2nd To Arsenal and reached the Semi-Final of the Champions League - pretty good base to start from I would say!!!
