Interesting that this is your contribution to the post match analysis - is this all you saw that is worth commenting on - a couple of digs toward players who have been struggling of late?
Interesting indeed. I made my comments on the game in the match thread last night

very unliverpool like behaviour, it disgusted me and comparable to the booing don't you think?

seriously though he hasn't earned the right to do this - plenty of other players would have every right to do it to keane for all the sitters he's missed

          Agreed

Believe me I was doing it when he missed them against Atletico Madrid and Bolton.

He came across as an idiot. Don't care what he's done at Spurs. He's done nothing here so needs to get on with it. Hardly the actions of a player low on confidence

            2. Our home record isn't terrible and we're top of the league despite not being brilliant.
            3. I don't see why I should worry over something I can't control.
            4. If we win the league, great; if we don't then life goes on. We've got nothing to lose.

People seem to think if we don't win the league it would be a disaster. I want to win it as much as anyone but let's keep things in proportion or be, um, realistic.
Ok, but i meant generally, don't you have any anxiety at all that we won't win the league, agreed it wouldn't be a disaster, but to not be worried at all...surely not, not a bit of anxiety about falling short.

I see your expectations are realistic and that helps, but the mere fact you would love us to win the league, surely it would follow that you'd worry just a little bit about not winning it. No?

rafa fails to win the league this year he's sacked. both my opinion on what will happen if he fails and what should happen after 5 seasons here.

i really do't mean to be negative or provocative but imo rafa knows the stakes are now higher than ever

For once I disagree with you rage, not with the fact that he should be sacked but there's rumours that he's about to sign a three year extension or something

Ha, I completely understand why you'd think that but no. I mean, I'd be disappointed if we come close and obviously even more so if we lose it at the last. But that prospect doesn't worry me in the slightest right now. If we win then it will make me happier, if we don't then it won't make me any less happy (or more unhappy ) than I am. I realized a couple of years ago that there is no reason why the pain of losing needs to be equal to the pleasure of winning.

Of course I get anxious watching a match like everyone else but even then if I tell myself just to enjoy what's happening and let the result take care of itself (or simply let the manager and players take care of the result) then I can switch off the worry.
                  .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

So if we finish second on the last day of the season finishing 1 point behind the winners you think he should be sacked? Even though that would be a massive improvement on anything since we last won the league?

Confidence? I think they were the actions of a player who was frustrated with the terrible support he got all night.

Then it would be up in the air, and I'd give him another half season

If we finish 2 points behind then he should be sacked :-)

So a little then, sometimes. ( but your lucky, you have a 'worry switch'. )
