I agree, Lucas Lucas Lucas will come good I reckon. He must be feeling like he's having a right nightmare not being able to get in the team at present. In all honesty though, who can he dislodge, no one at the moment.

It might be a good thing to maybe send him out on loan for a year to see what he can really do, maybe even a Premier league team rather than a lower league club.

I'm sure we'd be hearing rave reviews about him in no time. Find it a bit unfair to criticize the lad, especially as I don't think he's even played a full game yet.

I'm not sure if this is a good idea, BUT if he did go out on loan he's proven he can handle himself in the premiership so he should go to another premiership team or a european champions league team. Maybe he could go to Portsmouth if Diarra is sold to Man Utd or Spurs in January.

I don't believe he is Brazillian to be honest, reckon he was born in Woolton & brought up in St Helens.

Thought he was a decent player last season and he'd get better having settled in but he has been rubbish everytime he's played this season.

I believe the talent is there somewhere but for some reason it isn't coming out. His heart doesn't seem to be in it.

Waste of money. He's got Alonso, Mascher and Gerrard ahead of him, three of the best midfielders in the world. Can anyone realistically see him breaking into the first team and being a regular?

His best performance was his debut at Goodison and it's been downhill ever since. £7m FFS? He's not worth half that.

Disgusted to hear the fans booing him. Fair enough if you dont rate him but its an embarrassment for the club when the fans boo anyone. I know I laugh at Arsenal every week when they boo and it made my skin creep when I heard the Liverpool fans boo.
Disgrace to the club if you ask me and the fans in question need there heads sorted. Seriously what good do they think its going to do? It will just ruin the lads confidence even more and play on the other players minds as well. Needs stamped out now!

Yep, this is the time he needs our support more than ever.

Wouldn't be suprised if his confidence was shot to ****.

Booing like that from Liverpool fans is very disappointing.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Of course it is. But yesterday I did not hear Lucas get booed like the media suggests. The fans booed when Mascherano was subbed instead of Lucas. In that instance they are booing Rafa's decision which to be fair, at the time, most people would have liked to slap him for proving himself to be so stubborn yet again.

On the subject of Lucas as a player, I can honestly say he is one of the worst players in the squad. Certainly not good enough to wear a Liverpool shirt. I found myself almost feeling sorry for him yesterday as he looked completely lost on the pitch.

At the end of the day though it is Rafa who should be questioned for leaving Alonso (who has been probably our best player this season) on the bench and playing two uncreative midfielders. It was an unfortunate reminder that even though Rafa is still taking us forward, he is still prone to making some ridiculous decisions.

It sounded like booing on television and not just at the time you mentioned.

The only people who get it right every time are the ones who don't have to make the decisions. A good decision is one that works; a bad one is one that doesn't.

Agreed, but that just proves it to be a bad decision as it didnt work.

I may have missed it I suppose but I was in the Kop and never heard him booed. Obviously I heard a lot of "sub that useless c***", no booing though.
