I'm just really keen to continue the Spanish link. We're the most Spanish side in the Premier League, just at the same time as they're producing the best players in the world. He has a relationship with Reina, which is also massive in my view, and I'm pretty sure will help us keep Nando.
That apart from his impressive record - without ever really winning anything of note, granted - and his exciting brand of football. Bring it on

imo not only that we would be able keep on Nando I'd be confident (as long as he is given some budget) to think he would be able to attract and bring some other quality players from either Spain and/or South America.

love how he comes out with this only after it looks likely that Pellegrini will be appointed.Originally posted by Icon View Post

Subscribers to this website, with whom I’ve discussed the issue at length, will know that I named Manuel Pellegrini as my choice for the vacant Liverpool manager’s job some weeks ago, even when his odds were 40-1.

From day one he was my choice, I just wish I'd backed him. It seemed pointless at the time, he wasn't remotely in the frame and why would anyone in their right mind back Purslow and the other snakes to do the right thing by the club? Even though he was my #1 choice I wasn't expecting an appointment of his calibre, which is why...like Chris...I just don't expect it to happen. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
