Actually it did. So maybe your judgement is off.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostBecause they play a higher amount of longer, riskier passes that probably dont reach their target. Lucas plays fewer of these.
You're ignoring the fact that i actually do WATCH the games, and i know what i'm seeing. You acting as if i'm making a judgement based on something other than seeing the matches.
I couldnt give a **** what a newspaper review says, i base my opinion on what i see.
Does the 'Guardian game review' say he plays a lot of forward, dangerous balls? Because he doesnt.
Don't let those facts get in the way eh Craig

Me and about 90% of Liverpool fans. All wrong. Just you who's right. Nobody else.
Or maybe it could be that not every Liverpool player is the second coming of Pele.

I dont know, surely yours is higher than anyones. I dont care what facts or stats anyone shows me, I go to the games and I KNOW. I know more than anyone else. Im never wrong.
Its all straw men, pedantics and misrepresentation with you mate. You must be a lawyer
And I think this was what he meant. Not the 'Guardian game review' you're trying to dismiss by misrepresenting what it is (no change there) but a visual record of the games. With things like players' passes. Not just in number but direction and location. You can look up a random selecion of Lucas' performances and you'll see passes of verying lengths all over the pitch. You can even compare him other players you think (sorry, know) play more accurate and more regular long passes. Have a look. You might learn something.

And you can support your opinion with tenuously related statistics.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostSo in conclusion, Matt says you're not allowed to have an opinion of what you look for in a very good player, unless Lucas meets the criteria.
