Who would accept defeat against Everton if it meant
Roy Hodgson says it would be "a sad day for Liverpool" if the club's new owners abandoned the Anfield tradition of loyalty to managers and dismissed him after the team's worst start to a season for 57 years.
Full story: the Observer
There's no way he'll resign he has a 3 year contract and would be walking away from a massive payoff presumably
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
I would never accept defeat. NESV will look at The Hodge overall, not on todays result.
I also cant belive the amount of venom against him, give him a ****in chance
most realistic option with Roy is him being moved upstairs for a younger manager he can mentor.
Would be a way of removing him without too much face being lost.
When I say "mentor" I mean that as something to tell the press!
Sod that, I don't want him having anything to do with our club.
If it's bad publicity so what, it's in the clubs best interests to get rid of him. And that has to be what's the priority.

What have I said wrong to earn that response. Pellegrini has said that he does not plan to be in Europe more than three years and wants to go back home. He is looking for a short term appointment at a good club and I think we fit that profile very well.
