Your opinion does not offend me. Its the way you tell people the're wrong for questioning things, that offends me.Back to you not reading my posts again I see. The reason I seem to be following you around so much is because most of the things you say I disagree with.Originally posted by Chris View PostHaha! Irony alert, you've not stopped following me around the forum since I disagreed with your opinion that Robbie Keane wasnt signed by Rafa. You were spectacularly wrong then too.
And if an opinion on the internet offends you so much you might want to man up a bit.
I also have accepted that I was wrong on Keane. But I never said it was the gospel truth that he signed him either.Last edited by Alex; 18-10-11, 03:46 PM.*Except Michael, who died.

It's not anger, a few swear words and disagreeing with people doesnt mean im sitting here foaming at the mouth.Originally posted by CJ View Posti am fine. its you that is a worry. you may not be an angry person in real life but on here you come accross as very angry.
also from your posts you dont seem to like anyone not being 100% pro everything about the club.
its just my opinion like
I do get slightly annoyed when **** is spoken about our players though. Gerrard and Carra have had a horrendous amount of crap written about them on here which have nothing to do with their performances. You probably only notice me sticking up for Carra when he's had yet another personal attack on him but ignore me saying we need to replace him.
And in this thread someone has pretty much got Suarez nailed as guilty because its unlikely Evra would make it up?! How's that for evidence?
The 100% pro thing is funny, I was abused for criticising Hodgson to much on here and labelled "anti Rafa" the other day all because I dared to suggest he got the Robbie Keane signing wrong! I can actually see how it comes across that way but most is just sticking up for club legends or new players in the face of over the top criticism, not deluding myself that they are perfect.

With most players I would tend to see where you are coming from. With Evra however, well, this is the 4th time this has happened in his career.Originally posted by BG1973 View PostOtherwise i would tend to believe Evra. No reason to make such a sensitive thing up unless it's true.
When those deaf fans accused Finnan of being racist towards him, Evra refused to contradict them (which he easily could have). This was later proven to be complete bollocks.
He accused that Chelsea groundsman of racism, in a situation where he himself was in considerable trouble. The FA later called that "unreliable"
And he rather laughably accused Senagalese fans... yep, black African fans, of racially abusive chanting towards him. No evidence of such chanting could ever be found.
Then there's this case. According to him, Suarez used this term towards him more than 10 times in the match, and said that it was on camera and the ref knew about it. Yet he said nothing to the ref about it at all during the match, despite getting booked himself for dissent and having several verbal exchanges with that ref? A ref who heard nothing, no other players, including those in close attendance at the time appear to have heard anything, and no cameras so far have found anything resembling what Evra's claimed.
Now I'm not saying Suarez is definitely innocent, I don't know. However, it is a crucial foundation of our legal system in this country that someone is innocent until proven guilty. On that basis, and considering the things I've listed above, I think that "tending to believe Evra" at this juncture is somewhat unfair on Suarez.I could not dig, I dared not rob:

Just in regards to Evra and the "Why would he make it up type comments". What was the situation with Evra and the Chelsea groundsman? Do we know if the groundsman said something racist or borderline racist at all, and this then was blown out of proportion by Evra (hence the FA's view on the incident) or did the groundsman not say anything racist and Evra completely made it up?
This might help form a view on how likely Evra is to completely make something like this up, as obviously none of us really know what happened this time. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It was alleged that the groundsman called him a "****ing immigrant". Chelsea always maintained that he actually called him a "****ing idiot". The FA ruled that the totality of the evidence given by various Utd staff over the incident was 'inconsistent and unreliable' and there was no further action taken regarding any racism claims.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostWhat was the situation with Evra and the Chelsea groundsman? Also, and i may be wrong so apologies in advance if I am, but i'm sure i remember him(Evra) being involved with some sort of issue with the French FA/national side and Fifa/Uefa - iirc was it calling players slaves or somethign along those lines - i'm not sure what exactly the issue was or who was at fault but i'm sure i defo remember Evra being involved in another incident cause i remember thinking, here we go that cunt evra acting up againOriginally posted by MrMichael View PostWith most players I would tend to see where you are coming from.
