Go to court to achieve what though? The FA statement already quoted Evra as saying "I dont think Suarez is a racist" and the general overriding message coming out from them is that Suarez apparently made a racist comment, but isnt a racist. So i'm not sure what he would go to court to achieve, other than overturning the guilty verdict - which i dont think could/would be done via the courts anyway.

@ Vonk.
The hypocrisy stinks with the Terry case. So many Players and Managers and Media ****e coming out with ' We know Terry, He is a great guy etc. Played very well previously under immense pressure'
They avoid stating or mentioning Cheating on his wife and why he lost the captains armband last time etc. They build him up with underlining tones that he is a good guy and one of 'us' and the allegations should just be dismissed, we will go down to the pub and have a few drinks with him, he is one of the lads. Stinks.Last edited by Baracus; 23-12-11, 01:44 AM.

What were you expecting though? A grovelling apology?Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostI got a reply from The FA, but it was just a link to a standard webpage with no new information. I sent them another e-mail, but they are just a bunch of ******s so there's no chance of them admitting they may have made a mistake.

No suprise there really but that's just pathetic.Originally posted by ElRabiosa View PostThat poll is so fixed, Nani is now winning and we are nearly an hour over 12am

At some points FA lives in a multi cultural society where racism aren't tolerated (that's totally understandable and sports should bring people closer not separate them by the colour of their skin) and on the other and they live in the 1930's. No respect or understanding for cultural differences. Surely it was stupid by Suarez but they have to look at it from a cultural point of view. What does it mean where he comes from. I've played football for many years and I've been called a lot worse things than "little black man". This is just silly and it's only because he's a Liverpool player tbh.
Suárez has done some pretty ****ed up things in his career but this is not part of it. Suárez's name better be cleared. ****ing scums at FA.JUSTICE FOR THE 96!

Made a post on Tumblr about a brilliant article on the Suarez saga and would highly recommend everyone gives it a read.
It sickens me to see some of the things I've read about Suarez. I wanted to respond with this to try to spread this article, its more than just about football. Its injustice and hints of (as suggested in the article) xenophobia. Obviously we all agree for the most part with what the article says but more of the public should open their minds to this. Ach whats the point anyway. Small minded cretins are just going to remain that way. Suarez is never going to get the truth come out. Our media can destroy someones reputation in a day if they want to.

We are a unique football club, we stand up for each other and achieve things that other clubs don't. What can we do to hurt the FA? We managed to force Hicks and Gillett out, we can surely cause damage to the FA if we get focussed and stick together? The FA's reputation has in my eyes taken a massive hit this week, they are so unprofessional it's incredible. We can and should target them in any legal way available to us. We need to cause them damage the way they have damaged Luis Suarez' reputation.

I don't know, maybe amongst Liverpool fan's mainly but is there a widespread show of support for Suarez across the country? Feels very much likes its Liverpool against everyone and I can't see the FA coming out worse. I really want to believe its possible but it seems as if everybody is taking their side on the whole case.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostWe are a unique football club, we stand up for each other and achieve things that other clubs don't.
