If Suarez gets an 8 match ban and a huge fine that's one thing, it's the injustice of him being branded a racist which really appals me. I don't believe for a second that he is, I don't care greatly about the rest of the punishment - I just hope that Suarez gets a fair chance to clear his name.

as I said it would take a huge number to do it and even then the tickets would be picked up by those that never go to games as they're available.Originally posted by TheElephantMan View PostI agree with your post, but can you really see a Liverpool fan boycott of England matches having any impact? I don't know anybody who supports Liverpool who also attends England games. It would be a good suggestion if we could rely on sympathy from other clubs, but clearly in this instance we can't.
In terms of other clubs the only way would be to galvanise them to act against the FA for their own interests - not a chance of this ever happening as most at the moment have no outstanding issues and therefore not worth the hassle.

Which is near as damn it denying them the right to appeal and undermining the authority of CAS.Originally posted by Lecter View PostSuspension from all competitions for any club doing this is now mandatory (thereby discouraging clubs from taking it this far)
Would love someone to fasttrack a case through granting an interim jusgement against FA/UEFA/FIFA to force their hand away from such cuntery.Football without Origi is nothing

A few players have sued other players for dangerous tackles so you can do it. IIRC an Australian player won a case because the injury ended his career.Originally posted by Lecter View PostI'm not sure Suarez can actually do that Arn without facing the same potential penalty (ie expulsion from all competition until the case is finalised)
I cant remember a player ever taking it that far, and presumably there is a good reason for that
We will appeal it to the FA most probably - although I'd prefer to wait and see the report before committing myself on that
Beyond that I'm not confident the club or Suarez will pursue it further
I'm not saying they wouldnt be morally right to do it, but just that going down that avenue might be more costly (in terms of time out of the game etc..)Stop the cyberhate

The FA have really ****ed up here, it's quite obvious now that they're manipulating the details to deliver a more convincing report. I hope they are ****ting themselves, as The Independent article stated every single word WILL be scrutinised. They'd better hope that the reasoning behind their verdict is watertight. I suspect that it won't be.Originally posted by Jack D Rips View PostApparently the FA have already broken their owns rules by not delivering the document by 6pm three working days after the verdict.
