Funnily enough the BNP are of course up in arms about her comments that white people want to divide and rule - while simultaneously complaining about racial integration

Just saw one of my mates who told me of an incident a couple of weeks ago at a party.
He is an estate agent and was trying to describe the location of a property to a friend of his wife.
He told her it was just passed the house where "that coloured fella" lives.
She reacted with some shock and told him he can't use words like that now and the correct term is black.

My mate is mixed race - he said to me he hadn't realised the accepted term had changed because no one had sent him a letter

Is there a grey area with regard to racism? It seems that people have become so hyper sensitive to what can and cannot be said and done that we've lost sight of what racism is? I'm fortunate that I've never been on the receiving end of genuine hate-filled racism, I don't think I've been discriminated against because I'm white. I'm sure that people of other races know the difference between ignorance/stupidity and genuine racism, not that the ignorance should be accepted. We need to address the issues with younger people and I think we are, it's generally the older generation who display ignorance. I think it's worrying that a person would react with horror when someone describes another person as 'coloured'. That's just silly.

You only have to look at Hansen's comments saying how coloured players and fans had made the game better. He was giving praise and still got attacked for it.

Maybe so but it's bad timing imo.

It may,MAY be tolerated in normal circumstances but the guy has been kicked from pilar to post recently from everyone jumping on the bandwagon,I think he deserves a break without cheap personal insults

The whole reference to wearing the t shirts etc, just doesn't work in that format and is very borderline..
