Interesting question. If it is a language or country- wide thing at what point draw the line? The irony of the FA making judgements about foreigners language is there for all to see.

Fernandinhio might take me up on this one, but I remember telling my mate's Mam of my (mixed) heritage & her saying "Crikey you're a wog arent you?" I'm currently reading Dalglish's autobiography (I realised a couple of days it had sat on my shelves for years and I had never got round to reading it) and Nigey is quite right, he uses the word 'wee' a lot.

I think it's obvious he started using the word to describe players like Sammy Lee so that he could set up a defence many years later should one of his players ever be charged with making heightist remarks. It's a pity he overlooked the possibility the heightism could be dwarfed by an accompanying accusation of racism.

This is a mistake Rafa would not have made and show why Kenny are not what we need.

I stand a mere 5'7 1/4" (albeit 14 1/2 stone of fully functional & dynamic brawn (& brain)), so I'm not entirely sure he's shorter? (Actually, who is DD as well as how tall)?

Evidently, I am far less bothered about having the piss taken out of my height than Craigs tho, so am relatively comfortable to air such facts.

Yes, pretty much, although it's worse than it has been for a while, simply because they don't seem to care how obvious it is now. They can't be bothered keeping enough people onside and they tell any old lies because they think they can get away with it. The sad thing is they're probably right about that.

I originally thought it applied differently - the Lib Dems were the liars (tuition fees anyone?) and the Tories were the thieves but it's obvious both are both.

And anyway ultimately it applies to those who really control the country - the government are just part of the ruling elite.

My BMI says Im clinically obese, but it's not the case- have had to do a lot of exercise to get here.

Completely disagree with this. Racism is all about the intent, putting someone down/winding them up because of their race. If you're not aware you're doing this, then you're not actually being racist. You might be saying something offensive, but due to ignorance, not bigotry.

Agreed. Australians refer to Pakistan as the Pakis much like Australians are referred to as Aussies.

Unfortunately even if you had the best intentions in the UK, it's automatically racist.
