i watched that game yesterday and i am not condoning what the fans were doing but it wasnt Racist related....it was right at the end of the game & he went down injured time wasting & then came straight back on the pitch....at which point he had to take a throw in & chaos ensues...

It's intersting that everyone immediatly jumps to the conculsion that it is racially motivated when in fact it's a footballer getting hit with water bottles (although obviously still not acceptable) and nothing more.

Perhaps it's because it's Turkish fans.

I saw it on Twitter and every one of the comments around it, and its is pretty much trending worldwide now, was indicating it was racially motivated

We lived on a road on 26 houses within a big surrounding estate and of those 26 houses, we have 3 families of travelers, and their relations that come can with that too. First day one family moved in i got chased down the road with a sickle. A sickle for ****s sake, i mean who has one of those

Some crazy **** went down i can tell you. I can sum it up by saying: Knife Throwing/Regular Kiddie Boxing/Child Beating/Guns/Madness. An interesting child hood
