Who can complain about abusive language - anybody? If the FA receive a single complaint about abuse do they have to investigate it?

A member of the public can complain about racial abuse (Finnan accusations), so it can't be different rules for other type of abuse - homophobic abuse for example.

Sadly though, the club & its fans are a small & relatively insignificant minority when compared to the rest of the clubs, FA, press, fans & wider public. It's certainly something that I'd take into account in the situation.

Can they extend the ban if we appeal and it fails? I thought that only applies for "spurious" appeals. And whether the charge is right or wrong, its such a complicated case that there's no way an appeal could be deemed spurious.

I love how practically every United fan I know spends 364 days a year slating the FA, calling them corrupt, incompetent, clueless etc.

My dad put a facebook status supporting LFC and Suarez. First comment was from a manc calling Luis a racist, and finishing off the comment also calling him a n****r. Pure class
