I've been analysing the stats big time and noticed that from time to time we can be slightly erratic and porous at the back.

Probably worthy of some of the chaps on the forum tossing around for debate at some point?

yeh, a debate... what could go wrong! we al support the same team and see the same game, yeh, it'll be a laugh.

anyways, ive got the ferguson vhs on pause, im just going to make a brew and then settle down to watch the second half. we are playing some amazing stuff, this could be a very special 45 minutes. back soon

I think our style of play is great. I’m more concerned that, as fans, we’ve accepted mediocre players as being ‘good enough’. We have some average players in our first team. Nice guys but inconsistent eg one good game in four.

Support (supporting individual players) is one thing, but we need to be honest in terms of the caliber of player currently playing for Liverpool.

Our best goalkeeper is Mignolet. Our best centre back is Matip. Our best centre midfielder is Henderson. Our best striker is Firmino. Good players on their day but nothing special.

But how far is that from changing very soon? Our best CB may be VVD and our best CM Keita, if not Goertzka. That makes a huge leap of difference.

Firmino is doing ok as long as Salah and Mane stay fit leaving only Mig as our real problem.

Serious lack of any sort of composure in the side. As soon as things start to go wrong, we absolutely capitulate. Having Henderson as the captain of LFC does us no favours either. The lack of leaders argument is so true.

It is true, but it applies to the touch line too. They changed their shape and klopp didn't /couldn't react, not that they weren't creating chances first half. It's not the first time we've played seville but it looked like it.

Keita appears to be a leader and VVD is. Suspect we need one or two more, but hopefully we get both of those two - it'll be a start.
