Big decisions have to be made look at Everton.....1 win in 10. they drop there club captain and bring in a few kids and things are looking good again for them.

We just keep doing the same things again and again because it worked at the beginning of the season.

The system needs a tweak when we play the **** teams at the bottom , losing to Swansea ,Hull and drawing with Sunderland tells it's own story right there , 1 point from 9 against teams in the bottom three where a full house pretty much guarantees Champions League and a tilt at the title.

The three in midfield needs changing in these games, Would we look more in control with a 4 4 2 ? with what we have at our disposal or the 4 2 3 1

Or a dedicated player in front of our two centre backs who need protection against counter attacking teams.
I read Klopp said something about Can's calf (?) being injured and the only way for him to recover was to play more games. So we give him a game instead of Weeji who is a much smoother passer to compliment our front four.

I'm not blaming Can per se for this game but the attitude Klopp showed (oh its only Hull, yeah let's send out an underperforming injured player to help with his recovery) sends the same message to other players, i.e. oh its only Hull. Don't worry lads we'll win it in our sleeps.

I fully expect us to beat Spurs and/or Arsenal because that is how our players have been turning up for most of our games, unfortunately (and fortunately to an extent I suppose).

Followed by Leicester who are in freefall but are still a counter attacking team - I'm already wary of that one.

My thinking as well mate , looking forward to the Arsenal and Spurs games

Just like Chelsea we didn't give them much at all.

But Leicester bring trepidation which can't be right if us as fans are thinking it.

our ball speed is terrible at the minute. When we are passing the ball around the receiver is standing waiting for it to arrive.

earlier on in the season we were fizzing passes and as a result creating more spaces

                Precisely this.
Our players are standing still with a defender on their shoulder ready to nudge them off the ball once its passed so the ball goes sideways again. And again...
no one running into space. The ball needs to be played into the space for the attacker to run onto, between the lines, wide or inside.
what sort of trainig do we do???
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Have to say, I wholeheartedly agree with what all three say here and I think they sum up the crux of the issue and why we've fallen away:

Lots of intelligent points from all pundits. High intensity style of play + lack of squad depth + lack of new players + busy fixture schedule = us.

Our squad is designed for August/Sept/Okt/Nov - Feb/March/April/May

We don't a squad to cope with Europe since we don't have European games. But in December and January the schedule is just like it would be if we had European games, even tighter.
                      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

it has been absolutely unnecessary to play Wini/Henderson & Can in the same side, they are all way too similar. I would love for us to have an out and out DM who could give Henderson a chance to play his natural game.

Henderson has a ridiculous engine and makes great (used to) runs into the opposition box but he has been pigeon holed in that DM position & although he's solid on the ball and in possession ... he simply isn't a DM and never will be. People are forgetting how productive Hendo was in a more attacking role 14/15 6 Goals & 10 Assists is nothing to be scoffed at. Under Klopp with the fullbacks as your width, surely it makes sense to have a DM there to cover up across that line infront of the CB's, if either fullback gets caught up the pitch? We are getting caught time and time again on the counter because of this exact reason IMO.

Totally agree mate , Hendo is better than where he is being asked to play.

I see Douglas Costa unhappy at Bayern as he's not getting in regularly and wants a move to the prem, talk about your perfect player for what we want. Although without top 4 and offering big money there's not a snowballs chance in hell of him even considering us.

Quality player, him on one side and Mane on the other .... one can dream.
