For me...

Mig can go...been here long enough not good enough
Karius...stays, saved by the fact he is young and not been here long

Clyne...stays, dependable enough and in a decent side would do a job
Taa...stays young potential to give us cover

Lovren...just about stays but only as 3/4 choice
Matip...stays but needs a quality partner
Gomez...stays but it's time he stepped up and starting featuring more
Klavan....sell
Lucas....time to go

Moreno....brain dead. Sell
Milner.....never ever a left back but prob stays as he is experienced, solid pro, who has a bit of versatility...that said argument we need two left backs, and use Milner as a backup midfielder

Henderson...stays, but take the armband of him
Can....would not be bothered to see him go
Wijnaldum....I'd say he prob stays just cause we only recently signed him but he should be cover not first choice
Stewart...see ya
Lallana...stays

Coutinho...in previous years I've dreaded losing our best players....I'd prefer him to stay but I have to say I'd be tempted if a massive bid came in
Firminho....probably scraps it in but he's never ever a ****ing centre forward
Mane...only one who walks into next season
Origi....his age may just save but he needs a rocker up his arse and fast
Sturbridge....gone
Ings....sadly gone I'd imagine

The youngsters are safe....I'd guess the majority of people out on loan are goners

There's arguments there for about 8-10 players leaving

Regardless we clearly need for the first team

To fill out the squad

We certainly need those 5 positions but we need quality and mentally strong players which will likely be expensive. If we could get those 5 I would be happy, I would rather focus our spending on those positions than spread it around to get 7 or 8 players.

I'd honestly take fewer players in if it meant we were getting top quality. Stop taking chances and just get top players in so we don't have to start from scratch every year. There are loads of good players in Germany and France, and Southampton have found us a good forward as well.

I agree with the sentiment and at the same time I don't. Yes, we defo need 3-4 quality additions in a proper GK, LB, CM and a real CF. But we also need some depth. This season have really highlighted how little we have to offer from the bench. Klopp rarely makes more than one substitution before the end of the game because the gap in quality is so big. If we get rid of 5-7 players we are forced to spend some of our transfer kitty on getting enough decent players in.

My main wish for the summer is that we get a broader quality in the squad so we can actually make tactical subs and rotate players out of form etc. Sprinkled with just a few quality add ons.

The best solution for me would not to have a massive clear out of the squad just get rid of what we have to or what looks likely (perhaps Mignolet, Moreno, Lucas, Sakho, Sturridge) and to bring in 4 or 5 top quality players.
Bring in a GK, CB, LB, CM, CF

That an would give us a squad something like:
GK: New GK, Karius, Ward

Defenders: Clyne, New LB, Lovren, Matip, New CB, Gomez, Klavan, Flanagan, TAA, Milner

Midfielders: New CM, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Grujic, Lallana, Can, Stewart

Forwards: New CF, Coutinho, Firmino, Mane, Origi, Ings

That's a squad of 26 ok some of the players could be improved on but are capaable of doing a job. You could imagine a match day squad of something like

Starting XI: New GK; Clyne, Matip, New CB, New LB; Henderson, New CM, Lallana; Mane New CF, Coutinho
Subs: Karius, Lovren, Gomez, Wijnaldum, Milner, Firmino, Origi
