It depends how far in future you are looking and when they may transition Gomez to CB. Only proven way to get a result against Barca is to play like that but you have to be good in possession to handle that relentless Barca press from the top. Chelsea should have won that game last night aswell. Barca just rely on Messi to get them out of jail every jail... and to be fair he does most of the time!Comment

How would we have coped wih either of them as opponents.
I think we'd have had more otions going forward than either of them, but may have been susceptible to the odd counter.
Willian hitting the post twice and then scoring from shots outside the box just shows the importance of midfielders tracking back and covering and pressing the midfielder on the ball.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
