Obviously knew Ejaria came from Arsenal, but always assumed we poached him, rather than him being released. I wonder why they didn’t fancy him.

I saw him when he arrived from Arsenal and he was pretty lightweight to say the least, underwhelming presence on the pitch even if he did have some tekkers - I suppose you'd have said he was a typical Gunner youth midfielder. Didn't have him down as someone who'd be talked about as a possible Cup player this season.
