They are. If you look at the Mancs and Arsenal their run in's are pretty tough and at least one of them will drop points when they play each other.

Definitely in pole position for forth spot with a chance of third IMO.

Sure, but our form isn't amazing though, and we could easily drop plenty of points from games against the likes of Palace and Southampton, as our season to date has shown us. Confidence here seems sky high on the back of wins against Stoke and West brom. Arsenal might not need all 9 points from their games in hand to catch us and utd might need need to win all of their tricky games. If we can barnstorm it until the end for season then brilliant, but we haven't had that kind of form for several months.

Arsenal aren't catching us for ****, they blew it v Palace. They'll probably win tonight v an equally cowardly side but they have Spurs soon and that'll be that. And if we are talking of "form" ours is absolutely lightyears ahead of theirs right now.

2nd best in the premiership for the last 6 games? w4 d2.
Only spurs who have won all 6 are doing better.

Our form over the past 6 and 10 games is actually better than I realised.

Our form is actually quite good. We've won 5 drawn 2 of the last 7.

Arsenal are actually 12 points behind us right now with three games in hand.

As I said the Mancs are the main worry and them winning yesterday will have given them a fair bit of confidence but even with that I really can't see them winning all of their games

Its like we haven't shook the January period out of our minds, we haven't been convincing but we're in good form right now.

That gap from Arsenals point of view must look horrendous, they're in poor form and even if they win all of them they'll still be hoping we **** up. Before the Palace game I thought they'd put a run together and sneak in but it looks too big a task now for a club in turmoil and a manager in need of a care home.

Going into our game yesterday I'd have been OK with a point away to a Pulis side as I expected United to get a draw too. As it stands we still matched their result and nothing changes, my main concern is that their away form is much better than their home form but their fixtures aren't pretty.

It's all but wrapped up at this point. The fixture list for those around us has seen to that added with two brilliant away victories at Stoke and WBA.

Beat Palace and jobs a good one.

                          and look at ours......

                          Liverpool v Crystal Palace
                          Watford v Liverpool
                          Liverpool v Southampton
                          West Ham United v Liverpool
                          Liverpool v Middlesbrough

If we can't win one more game ( if they win all there games in hand) than them over these corresponding fixtures we don't deserve CL.

Every team will probably have nothing to play for bar Palace.

And United for as good as there Amazing??? 22 game unbeaten run they havent shown up in any big away game so cant see that changing.

The silver lining is that if the mancs did win all of their remaining games, then City, Spurs and Arsenal have all had losses.

Great that City, Spurs, and Arsenal all have something to play for when they go against the Mancs (and each other).

We stay steady and we will get CL footy. Nine points should be enough to get us there and on our current form we should be able to get that tally and a bit extra.

Given our habits against fodder I reckon we'll lose 1 and draw 1. But I also reckon united will lose a couple so we'll be sweet.

It's all about that punishing start we had, it's left us with a sweet run in.

United on the other hand have a mare ahead of 'em.

Very few of us predicted top 4 this season and if we get that then it will have been a superb season. I watched Spurs thump an abject Bournmouth on Sat and it galls me that we threw away 5 points against them.
