United are looking very good imo and I think they will make top 4. Momentum is with them and they have a squad depth we can only dream of. Brutally honest I think we will fall short and end up 5th or 6th

It's difficult to argue against the fact that we have a **** defence but we've shown we can defend properly at times, but again we just shoot ourselves in the foot too many times. We need reliably consistent players who are going to deliver and grind out results every week, not the bunch of inconsistent ****s we've got.

Today was another one of those insipid performances. Only Phil was on his game. We kept giving it away and allowing Palace to come at us in situations we were in control.

That was a shocking result, but not really unexpected! It has left us in a difficult position because now it's out of our hands. We have to win our games and hope that other results go our way.

We'll still do it if we win all 4 in my opinon given the others fixtures but we cant defend crosses and we've got Andy Carroll to play, we cant score against Southampton and we've got them, urgh. We probably (hopefully) had room for a **** up and we've done it. Hopefully the 4 we play now having no motivation tells. Utd win at City though and it's panic time!

If you believe 9 more points is enough (and I am inclined to agree it may be) then at worst that is only 2 wins and 3 draws. You can even throw a surprise loss in there - probably against Palace.

With Hendo (leader!) and Lallana to return in the next fortnight and a week long break between each game, even if we start off casually we still have time to nick 2 wins.

Stop panicking. This loss was always on the cards. Some rockets up arses will sort out the two wins we still need.
