Souness purring about it, rightfully so. Must have seen the tenth camera angle on it now.

I'm a big Shaq fan but he can't remain injury free. Almost guaranteed he'll be injured in the next month or so. Until then though he needs to get minutes even if it's off the bench. Ahead of Jones and Minamino.
    One tit for another.

      I thought we played ok.

Going a goal down changed the dynamic and we bossed it. Yes, could have been more clinical but against a team with everyone defending for 80 plus minutes that was a decent effort. Even Jones was tidy, he kept the ball well he just didn’t produce, but again that is easy to say and hard to do.

      We never give up.

Having a top quality attacking option off the bench is massive. Shaq and Jota have earned a start next match.

We are also playing teams who have had all week to prepare.

      So impressed with Nat Phillips.

        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

I thought we were very very good. I'm saying it now after a win, but I thought it was a plan to keep the ball, not make any mistake and up the tempo in the last 25 mins or so, which we did. I liked our precision in our passing, especially over that last phase of the game. Jota and Shaq gave us that penetration, which we lacked.

As for Jones, I thought he never lost the ball. Which is excellent for a young player.

We're just a great team at the moment.
          Are we winning?

At real time I thought he could have done better but upon the replay it's pretty clear that the accuracy of the shot was perfect. I'm not sure if it was saveable.

I felt we were going to win all second half.

Despite the improvement we still had a bit of luck in that 2nd half - Robertson's block with his back turned Given the injuries and stuttering performances our results have been fantastic this season in all competitions. Pretty happy with the start to the season. Looking forward to the next month despite some really tricky fixtures.

Good outing from Phillips too, I know he's played in Germany, but pretty good for your first outing in top flight football although being close to 24 would help with that, he must have a ton of non-competitive football and training under his belt.

Think he'll be good in the long run, completely normal for a young player in that position.
I agree Jota needs to start, almost certainly in place of Bobby who is way off at the moment. Shaq I'm not sure that he has it in him to be starting and playing 70+mins in the PL. I think that he would be best suited to an impact sub role for the last 30 against a tiring defence.

Sheff United game was almost a carbon copy.

We've done well to win both games despite not playing our best footballing and going behind early to very soft goals

                      Moyes is such a ****

West Ham manager David Moyes, speaking to Sky Sports: "I’m amazed that a penalty was given in the first half. I can’t believe that we’re allowing those sorts of penalties to be awarded.
On Liverpool’s penalty: "It’s not the sort of football I want to be involved in. I think our player stops and throws his arms up because he’s so disappointed about the dive.

"I’m just disappointed they didn’t turn the decision around. Maybe in the second half the decision [Jota’s disallowed goal] went for us, but the first-half one didn’t."

For such a dog**** performance, I thought quite a few played well - Henderson, Gini, Phillips, Shaq and Jota.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Couldn't give ****. We got the three points and put daggers in lots of bitter hearts tonight. That will do me.

We ground out plenty of results like this last season when we weren't always at our best - its the sign of a great team.
