Just imagine if fredo ever got trapped in a lift. He’d have torn himself apart arguing with himself by the time help came.

Whilst I agree about transparency around the decision making process, I'm not sure "because the attacker tool out two players leaving a tap in" would really add much in terms of understanding.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostIt's not in the same league, but it's still another decision that is unclear even on reinspection. Whether the decision is made by the VAR official or the on field ref using the monitor if a decision is changed or reviewed there needs to be an explanation for everyone's benefit.
As for the pen, it was very soft. Seems like any contact can be a pen these days so fair enough it was given I suppose, but the dive was ludicrous. And yes, Kane does the same, but then Kane is a cheating cunt and that shouldn't be the barometer for the conduct of our players.Last edited by Kenneth; 01-11-20, 03:09 PM.Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

I think most people watching the replay or decision on TV were looking for a foul on the GK, that was certainly what Sky were talking about at the time. If that replay shows the player not initiating contact with the GK then some explanation is clearly needed.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostWhilst I agree about transparency around the decision making process, I'm not sure "because the attacker tool out two players leaving a tap in" would really add much in terms of understanding.

Regarding the penalty I'm sure most of us would have preferred players to stay on their feet. The reality is if your players are only going down when they need to rather than taking advantage of contact then you are at a distinct disadvantage because every one else is getting the benefit of doing it.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It looked like Salah got booted on the back of his ankle in the same place he got raked in the last game? If so it probably hurt and I’m not surprised he made the most of it otherwise he’s getting nothing for it.
I had the misfortune of having Keys and Grey commentating on the steam I was watching - the agenda Keys showed at half time against Salah was absolutely appalling, don’t think I’ve ever heard anything like it.

Actually he does need to throw himself to the floor- otherwise he doesn’t get a penalty. Hate the game, not he player... that’s the way it is, unfortunately.Originally posted by BobTheCharmer View PostThere was decent contact and therefore a pen. But mo doesn't need to throw himself to the floor.
Honestly I’d have been cursing him out, if he had stayed on his feet..I don't tip

It was a foul and whether you believe it was unnecessary theatrics, a delayed reaction because it hurt or a combination of the two... if he doesn’t go down, refs won’t give us ****. If it was United player of Kane, he could have had a cup of ****ing tea and a biscuit before going down and it would have been given in an instant. Every time. We get few decisions from refs in the box so I’m all for doing whatever to get a pen if it’s a foul. Salah could have done several pogos and a forward roll and I wouldn’t give a ****...

24 hours later, its clever Harry kane................Originally posted by Tribute View PostIf that’s Harry Kane it’s ‘clever play’ for the penalty... if you’re a foreign player, you’re a diver. Murphy is an appalling waste of oxygen... parasite on the club. LFC should distance themselves from ex-players like him

Having seen it, he sees Lallana and backs into him meaning Lallana is whacked mid-air and misses the header, while Kane drops to the floor and Lallana lands on top of him. It’s a foul to Lallana not even a free kick let alone a pen.
