Also just seen this for the first goal, where not only is there the suggestion that the line is drawn in the wrong part of the Leicester player's arm, but that that line drawn for Firmino is from the shadow of his foot rather than his foot itself
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Quite a few weeks ago we were firmly at the bottom of the wrong end of var decisions going against us. I'd say it's got worse. I'm not saying it's a conspiracy or anything but everything that can go wrong is going wrong from injuries to var to even Klopps poor mum passing.

We can't keep bemoaning marginal VAR decisions. We're simply not play well, we're inconsistent, our heads drop, our energy levels and urgency have gone, and several key players are well down on the levels we expect of them.
This season is a turd, Klopps struggling, we appear to be ****ed mentally and physically. Lets simply ride this **** show out.Glass half empty club

If the farcical VAR decisions are happening when we're 1 up then we've right to bemoan them.Originally posted by fabinho View PostWe can't keep bemoaning marginal VAR decisions. The 2nd and 3rd goals would have been scored yesterday had that VAR decision been offside.

I still think this is our Man City of last season season. They had two seasons of immense performing before last season, then last season they seemed sluggish, less up for a fight, burned out etc etc.
We then came into this season after two immense seasons of our own where we were simply relentless game after game after game. Then we come into this season like they did into last. Maybe that bit less fight in us, maybe bodies were technicaly fit but mentally running on fumes. Then we started to pick up injury after injury and players playing out of positions and it turned into the perfect storm of adversity and a wall that we found we could not just break through.
I am choosing to believe that next season will be the one where we bounce back like City have this season.I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

We dont know that for sure, and the VAR decision was marginal. The fact is, we shouldn't have capitulated like we did anyway.Originally posted by spud_gun View PostIf the farcical VAR decisions are happening when we're 1 up then we've right to bemoan them.

I thought - and still think - their first was offside. But from the moment Jones went off we appeared much more open. Jones did look knackered, but putting the Ox on made our team more offensive (in theory) - although in practice it was like having just 10 men. Heads went down after the second. Why oh why didn't Alisson call? Is he a silent keeper?
I am devastated by the result but not by those first 75 minutes. I know games last 90+, but we should not slit our wrists. If the centre back pairing gets better, we can start giving the full backs some time off.

Leicester’s first goal is offside, no question about this. The player had his arm ahead of everyone else. I just don’t understand why they have to put a line in.
For the first 75 mins we were excellent and by far the better team. Leicester couldn’t really lay a hand on us. A few chances for Vardy on the counter and that’s what they had.
Forget our issues in defence but what we’ve really been lacking since the Palace game is a lack of ruthlessness in attack. When we are on top like we were for large parts we should have been 2 or 3 goals up and the game would have been gone for Leicester. It happened against Spurs and West Ham, but we were never able to capitalise our dominance into goals in the other games. This is the defining thing for me this season, even taking into consideration we lost our defence. We haven’t been that bad defensively until the last two games, which means we managed the situation well.
At worst we should be second in the table and a few points behind City and still in with a shout of the league. Are we winning?

You should apply for the points job at the league mate. We wouldn’t have been left in this situation had you been there.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

More or less I agree with this. We’ve ridden our luck at times and had the fitness to put teams away in the last 5-10 mins over the last 2 seasons. All of the well documented factors have conspired to drag is back down into the pack.Originally posted by Fredo View PostLeicester’s first goal is offside, no question about this. I can’t help but feel losingbJota was huge. Being able to rotate 4 top quality forwards into 3 positions was a massive change for us, and look at the form we were in when he was fit.
No team can survive a season with so many crucial players crocked.Modifying post.
