Arsenal fan conspiracy theories are crazy, we wanted to postpone the games so, the ACN players will be back, which they won't and we wanted the 'advantage' of the first leg at home

The one thing Klopp continually complains about is fixture congestion. The idea that we didn’t want the game to go ahead if possible is preposterous.

Oh the replies are a joy.

"Typical, preferential treatment!!" - what, from the same organisation that had us play 2 games in 24 hours on opposite sides of the globe?

"Of course they got away with it!!" - got away with what? Following protocol, providing evidence and independent testing? Got away with gaining no advantage whatsoever from a reschedule?

        Mind numbing

          Haters got to hate.

Of all the games we could have fixed to have cancelled this was not particularly high on the priorities over Xmas. Leicester or Spurs or Chelsea in the League would have been the ones to do it for.
          Modifying post.

That was just a dry run, to see if it could be done and if there would be any reaper cushions. Test passed successfully, so now we can use it later in the season if we find ourselves without key players.

Unfortunately they are different competitions with different governing bodies and different rules

Love if we gave this lot a proper hiding tomorrow night. A big enough lead that we can play a team made up of squaddies and youth players for the second leg.

The issue for us is our attack (without Mo and Sadio). Looks like Jota, Firminio, and Minamino are available, but are there lots of goals in those three or will we need to add a very offensive midfielder to that (Jones or the Ox).

Given we should have a full strength backline, and a close to full strength midfield (two out of three anyway), I think if we went with the front three you named that we would create plenty of chances and with any luck take a number of them.

Did not realise that Arsenal have the London derby inbetween the two games against us.

With Spurs only two points behind Arsenal and with two games in hand, I wonder will Arteta have to rest some players he might have started had the first leg been played last week.

Can't see anything but Arteta going all out for these two semi-final games. A chance of silverware under his tenure now would give him some credit in the bank with the owners.

Besides, Spurs would be easily beaten with a few first teamers rested anyway, they're that **** at the moment...
