Seems to be a very slow response to permitting or denying the request to have the game postponed.

If we were able to show proof yesterday that we had X number of positive cases along with injuries and as such could not field a team, then surely a confirmation of postponement should have followed quickly to allow fans to change their travel plans etc.

I think the decision makers are ****ting their pants about allowing us to postpone... given they shafted Leyton Orient against Tottenham for exactly the same reason and made them forfeit the game.

The fume either way from other club fans will be raging... because it's us, and not Citeh, Utd, Spurs, Chavs or Arse themselves...

The rule was they had to forfeit if they could not play the game before the next round. The game could not be resheduled. The final is mid feb, so plenty of time.

Nope that was not technically for the same reason. Health Officials stepped in with regards to that decision and took it out of the hands of the clubs involved by closing the ground. So it was not a case of a club looking for a postponement in that case.

Plus it is in the rules for the EFL cup that in the event of postponements etc that each potential postponement will be on a case by case basis.

The uproar on Twitter is hilarious.

The response from this journalist too

Arsenal fans are simply desperate to play our U18's etc

I don't understand it. Why are Arsenal desperate to get thrashed by our youngsters. Lads, you're still Arsenal.

Desperation. They know they are in heaps of trouble if they have to play senior players. Hope we knock them out playing the kids, would be beautiful to see the rivers of tears.

Probably have to do the application by snail mail
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Does anyone outside of football still use a fax machine
