You're right about recycling the ball, we're clearly trying to be Man City MkII. I just don't think we have the players or rhythm for it, yet. We'd be much better being more direct (at the very least in transition) but that would require quite a shift from how Slot wants to play.
It's so frustrating watching us play the wrong ball time and again in favour of retaining the ball rather than trying to play a player who is through in space.
I'd have Klopp back (if we were to move on from Slot which i'm not behind yet) over Iraola, mostly due to not having a transition manager with players in the same space.
