Bournemouth have more injuries than us currently and had won just 1 of their last 14 games. They created 6 big chances against us compared to 1 created by us.

I know we are playing in Europe so have more games but it doesn’t look good when he continues to not use certain players who might not be the best options but can come in a do a job for a game every now and then to give others a break.

Klopp was able to get a player like Endo to perform and do a job. He was able to get young players to perform above their level for a period to cover with injuries. Remember the Phillips and Williams CB that helped get us 3rd and the league cup win and other games in that period. We had a manager that made everyone believe and had trust in everyone to come in and do a job when needed no matter how old and what the situation was.

I wonder how much that lack of trust in the squad is affecting things behind the scenes.

      .

Weird thing is we had all that last season.

Endo (mostly from the bench ) had 32 appearances last season. Elliot had 28, Morton had 5, Nyoni had 5, Danns had 4. Quansah had 25, Tsimikas had 29, Chiesa had 14, Jota had 37, Nunez had 47, Bradley had 29 and so on.

So Slot was using squad players quite a bit last season. So not sure if it down to losing a number of those and then discovering the younger ones he had left were less good than he expected to be or what.

Throw in players like VVD, Konate, MacAllister and Salah having sudden dips in form maybe sooner than expected, certainly in the case of a few of those, and our new cover for some of them either not being available through injury or through getting up to speed.

Plenty of our woes this season have been self inflicted, but I do feel we have had a lot of very bad luck that added greatly to that as well.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

The issues have been around for almost a year now, and we seem further away from the answer, while being 450m quid poorer for it
Exactly, it's time to move on. He's not up to it at this level.

100% agreed. There is nothing to debate anymore, Slot just has to leave.

James Pearce: (apparently a club mouthpiece)

Liverpool spent £450m last summer but this is a squad in need of more major surgery.
There's been misfortune with injuries but there's also been mistakes in terms of planning, stars losing their way and Slot not trusting some on the fringes.
You can't blame fatigue for yesterday when Slot opted to only make one change from midweek.
You also can't blame injuries given
Bournemouth had more players missing, had won just one in 14, and still created six big chances compared to just one for #LFC.

There are lots of things he did well last season which seem to have disappeared.

He was great at making little changes at half time and his use of subs. He also got plenty of players to perform consistently. The likes of Gravenberch as an example.

It feels like it’s the complete opposite this season. He’s always talked about working with a small squad and he doesn’t want many options but maybe that isn’t going to work now with how much football there is to be played.

You need to be able to make adjustments to how you approach things. The training methods you mentioned and a small squad. You need to be constantly working on finding ways to improve and develop your methods to stay on top. The team just doesn’t look fit enough and considering they don’t play with the intensity they used to yet still drop off you wonder what the plan is.

The Liverpool media needs to step up, historically soft and too compliant to the club.

When Pearce is sticking the book in its bad, his content usually gets the unofficial seal of approval from the suits, who should also shoulder some of the blame btw.

Alot of noise floating around social media about him and his position saying there is likely to be a move tomorrow, probably speculation and BS

Probably noticed UTD paying like a proper team with a new manager. If it does happen I hope his entire staff move with him.

In the last 4 games we have dropped nine points against so called weaker teams. If we had won these games we would be 5 points behind Arsenal.

During this time our new players have been playing well.

Energy levels seem mow and motivation lower and there appears to be some discontentment in the team.
W appear to be vulnerable to an the low block applied in the premiership by many teams against us. We jave the occasional good result when teams try to attach us and leave themselves open.(in europe)

                            Captain commenting on players leaving.

I think Arne and his team have probably run out of ideas.

                            time for a change.
Jacques Brel is alive and well and playing at Anfield
