There’s something going on it all smacks of someone under pressure.

These are such bizarre points to be making, ultimately defending his own record which can only be because he is under threat. He may well have won us a title but this season he has delivered an all timer run of defeats.

With regards to the PSG game it’s difficult to state the significance now, but ultimately he’s not doing it in a positive way and if anything suggesting we’d have struggled to win the league if we’d progressed in the CL would have been on him.

      He’s cooked I reckon.

When managers resort to this level of bull**** they are done for. Fans aren’t that dumb. Well, I mean some are, but the majority see through this and he is setting up some sort of passive aggressive agenda to ends that we (the support) don’t fully know about.

Yip, RH was the last Liverpool manager I remember with that mentality, that mental weakness rubs off on the players.

Things are going to get toxic fast. I feel a bit bad for slot, I feel he has been thrown to the wolves my Hughes who I feel has a lot to answer for, if not more so than Slot.

There is no way Slot can turn this around imo, even if we win the CL, I just don’t think he’s the right fit for the club.

Maybe hes hit the is level and he knows there is nothing left, only thing to do now is get sacked and grab a bag of cash on the way out.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

There has been a lot of rumours of the club being in turmoil above slot's head. I thought Edwards would have been a great signing but it appears to be not so great for whatever reasons.

                  What kind of rumours?

These are just excuses. Klopp had stupid stuff in the background too but what happened on the field was all him. Slot has full control of his tactics and substitutions for games. And his tactics are garbage. He's also had 450mil.

Rumours that senior players at the club don't know what they're doing.

That quote from Slot seems to be in relation to players in the "red zone" possibly a thinly veiled message about not getting support (in this window).

I think it's pretty clear he's referring to Konate losing his father and Jota's death still impacting the club.

This is a very odd statement to give the Press. He does sound like a man under pressure.

Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

He started the season with that squad. For me, a January window should be opportunistic but not necessarily out of necessity. Like when we signed Diaz for instance. It was with the following season in mind really.

Slot might be right to some extent to be fair. I think they put a lot of their chips on Isak for instance. Whether that was primarily driven by Slot, Hughes, Edwards or a combo of them all (it was the latter) they essentially held hands on that and went balls deep. Some keyboard warriors here warned against it in a big way, some had a mental wank about it. But it backfired big time. The club decided to sign a load of players and a lot of fans were all horny at the thought of doing what PSG did last season and simply blow teams away, win the league by valentines day and have a go at the quad. Some pointed out that the squad was imbalanced in a big way and expressed concern.

I thought the Quansah sale was brilliant business (and probably done to inflate the Wirtz fee in the media.....there is no way that he was worth 35m - especially to a German club) because I didn't think Slot was ever going to use him anyway. I thought that the Diaz sale was crazy because he was our last bit of pace on the wings. Yet some folks thought that was great for a 29 year old (in his ****in prime ffs) and he was a deprecating asset.

But Slot was at the wheel. If he came out and complained about the squad depth at the end of August, then he might have a point. But he didn't. And guess what, there are a load of players that he had available that he hasn't used. And no matter what he says about squad depth, we have better players than Leeds (twice), Sunderland, Burnley, Bournemouth.

I believe that he is a very good manager. I also think that he has been left down by the players in a big way. Although some of the football has been ****e and monotonous, he has been ****ed over by some ****e errors in games by individual players just being crap. Nothing to do with tactics. We have been total ****e but the margins are small. But if he goes full David Brent then there might be no coming back for the guy.

I’m more getting Brendan vibes than Hodgson from Slot just now. One stellar season that ends up looking like a bit of a fluke.

I must admit I do like him, but it is beginning to look likes it’s all getting away from him. He needs us to go on a run that we’ve shown no sign of being capable of to save his job.

I think he has done something remarkable with us. He won the league. He handled Jotas death with real candour. But he seems to have no idea how to stop the current rot.

Not Konate. Whining about a small squad. A squad he doesn't really trust anyway.

There has been a situation where a player was on the pitch and was involved in a goal at the end of the game when really he should have been taken off."

"If the people knew the struggles we were coping with they'd be more understandable of the decisions we have to make."

What a bizarre thing to say. He's in total loser denial.

We were absolutely cruising to the title at that stage, if anything, our form fell off a cliff after that loss, but everyone else was dog**** as well so it didnt matter

                                He needs to go.
