I'm still buzzing from yesterday's results. This weekend just feels massive.

Customary race to 90 points update:

We can lose 3 and draw 1
Arsenal lose 0 and draw 1
Forest lose 0 and draw 1

That's it, no other teams involved.

Well, City can get a maximum 86 points - they're still at the back of my mind

Both ideas are good. Will probably change the race to 90 down to race to 86 next week to keep it more realistic (i.e. Arsenal aren't realistically getting to 90 now).

I realised that. It's the same trauma for all of us. My coping mechanism is this points countdown.

Someone posted this on reddit after the Brentford game so it doesn't seem to have all the weekends results, but it makes it easy to see how many points-per-game each team needs to reach each total.

If a figure is in red, then its a higher ppg than the team has managed so far this season. So to get 80+ points, every other team would need to improve their form massively, whereas we can get to 80+ even with worse form than the first half of the season. And we're the only team that can reach 90 points based on form from the first half of the season In fact, we're the only team that would reach 80 points based on the results to far.

That's brilliant analysis. Really sets things out very clearly. Would be great to have that updated after each round of games. Have you got a link to the post in reddit?
