Well anything based of sight and memory is going to be subjective. The sensible manner of analysis it to not only watch (and more than once) but to also look at stats.

EDIT: Haha it's Maxi and not Meireles, the thing about you chris is that you get on you're high horse about people giving critiscism to LFC players. But yet you go around calling fellow LFC supporters cunts & mancs etc so prob best not to try take the moral highground/ Number 1 LFC supporter angle, whilst you're abusing fellow reds

P.S. Maxi and Meireles are pussies

Of course I'll get on my high horse when I see good players called "awful" "pussies" or Carra/Gerrard slandered etc etc. I dont generally get worked up about regular criticisms of players but there is a ridiculous amount of over the top stuff said about our players on here and yeah it irritates me.

I think I've called two people a manc in 5 years, one who said Kenny would be a disaster and who logs on to boast about how he was right everytime we lose and I had my suspicions when a relentless whinger started getting our fixture list wrong.

And the one time I've called someone a cunt on here was long before you even registered. Not sure thats quite the vicious list of crimes you make out!

            And likewise chris

Another word for a pussy (as i see it) would be timid. It's not a personal attack and i really don't see how it's horribly offensive. i never said Meireles wasn't a good footballer just that he wasn't suited to CM as he can't or won't tackle, and Maxi was god awful in that game against United. But i have wrote dozens of posts about Maxi's qualities as a player, even if i'm not his greatest fan. Even complimenting both players, IMO they still are pussys/timid/lightweight, all the one to me.

I've seen you write very confrontation & aggressive things in my time on here, far far worse than me and several others calling Meireles/Maxi a pussy. But i don't want to argue dude. For me, there is nothing wrong with giving constructive/reasonable/valid criticism, calling a player a pussy is very tame IMO, obviously you disagree, and i suppose i can accept that it's each to their own

I'm not saying people shouldn't do it if they really want to but don't fool yourself, it's not constructive, it's just criticism.

It's not about it being tame or not, that wasnt the issue. The issue was about whether or not people post abusive/name calling stuff about our players. Calling a player a pussy is not constructive, reasonable or valid. You literally contradict yourself in one sentence, there.

And FYI, it's what i hear countless Man Utd fans do. So if you're going to be abusive about LFC players and act in the same way, in that regard, as a manc does, dont get annoyed when someone labels you as such.

You'd probably go upto someone at work and feel fine with telling them that they sometimes come across as timid. I doubt you'd tell them they're a pussy though, as they could take you straight to HR for it. I'm sure you can see that there's a difference in what terms one might use.

And furthermore, before you post some pisstaking/abusive/name calling or suchlike reply, i havent engaged in any of those things with this post, i've just explained, in a reasonable manner, why calling our players 'a pussy' or such names, isnt constructive, reasonable or valid, and why people mistake posters who do it, as mancs.

Come on, nobody mistakes people as mancs for such things. They just use it as an insult.

Reasonable discussions is fine by me

So you consider me abusive because i used the words pussy regarding two players, that other have said exactly the same? It's also been said in jest, it's not like i'm slagging their mothers ffs, IMO you're blowing things way out of proportion.

Clearly most of my posts about our players are reasonable and not abusive (If you want to call pussy as being abusive). The only player i can honestly say i was wrong about was Lucas. I had no problems in admitting that either, was egg on mine and 90% of LFC supporters faces and rightly so. And you also said his "criticism was justified at the time".

You critcise and complain as much as the rest of us Craig, let's not use a few instances of me calling someone a pussy, as grounds to be absuive or be labeled a manc (Wasn't referring to myself in previous post). A bit of balance is always nice

And why on earth are you talking about work? I do not work with or know any of these footballers, hell of alot different when you know someone personally. And during a game the words "Get stuck in" , "Don't bottle it" , "Don't be a pussy" , "Put you're foot in" etc and worse are used. Clearly you are a hell of alot more sensitive about the word "pussy" than i am, when sport is involved.

FYI, any LFC supporter that calls another LFC supporter a manc is a complete and utter idiot (EDIT: not directed any particular poster). Obviously they know any LFC supporter is not a manc, it is blatantly just a method of abuse. I think you know this to be true mate

P.S. I'm beginning to think with all this senstivity with pussys, that maybe there's a few gynecologists posting on EST

Hahaha you've got to love the logic of "calling a player a pussy is fine but dont dare call an internet poster you dont even know a manc". Absolute genius!

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think there's a difference between a topic being discussed by posters, and posts aimed personally at other posters. I much prefer the former (even juvenile insults) and have grown rather tired of the latter (especially juvenile insults).

Calling any LFC supporter a manc is embarrassing. Anyways lets cut this short, we ain't gonna to agree as per usual, and that's fine with me
