I've got a feeling he *definitely* won't, going by past happenings. Happened quite a few times he came on, scored, and wasn't even on the bench in the next game. Looks like he's not a moneyball player, only reason I can see him out of the squad. Not enough percentages, stuff the computer tells you but the eyes 'can't see'. My eyes see goals. Constantly. In all his time he was here. He scored 11 goals in the 2nd half of last season. Aw well, as me mate Mitch from Lancashire says 'It's one o'them'

It's definitely possible, because he isn't the sort of player who will track back and make things happen for 90 minutes.

I think he's got a total of something like 16 in his last 37 games or something. In a team that can't score I find it baffling how he can't get a sniff.

I knew it was good...is that right? Equate that to a league season and it's (obviously ) 16 goals from midfield, which is clearly very good. And as you say given our paucity of goals from midfield....well, anywhere, this season then it makes it all the more baffling.

I haven't included his first (half) season with us. Because he only got one in 17.

But going from the start of the 2010/11 season until now, he's got 18 in 51 in all comps according to Wiki. Not quite 16 in 37 then. But still good.

Actually it might be close. In all comps this season he's hit eight in 16, and he scored eight (?) at the back end of last season. So it could well be 16 in 25-30-odd games.
