I thought he was excellent before the injury (maybe could have developed into a better player than Masch) and still very good after it.

Calling him gash is just crazy IMO and I can't understand at all how you could have formed that opinion after watching him.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I saw him play almost every game for us, cheers.

And like I said; I thought he was ****ing fantastic defensively. But he constantly gave away possession. One of the most frustrating players I've seen in a Red shirt and that's saying something. I'm sure a majority of LFC fans that saw him play would say the same.

I thought there was a huge change pre and post eye problem. I would never say he was terrible before, he was a favourite of mine before, he was a proper destroyer. Sure his distribution could be shaky at times, but he was never ****.

We shall disagree on this one then my friend.

What is the Carragher myth? If I ever knew, I've forgotten.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Sissoko was a high energy player who was good for a high pressing game, but he wasn't the greatest on the ball.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Sissoko was a great player, just don't ask him to head a ball.

completely agree with that. but only really after the eye injury before that he was a part of the greatest midfiled in the world. after the injury he couldn't ****ing pass it five yards without it going 10 feet in the air.

Would I have got married during the football season ?
                          Anyway, it was Rochdale reserves.'

I've started a lovely mass debate.

I wouldn't mug Momo off because he was incredible shielding the back four. But every time he had the ball he gave it away. Personally I thought he was gash.

Still, I also thought Morientes and Gonzalez were good sigings at the time so what do I know?!

Momo was a good athlete & great defensively, but as Lee has already said, he gave the ball straight back to the opposition. Not really what I'd call a footballer. Masch was a huaaage improvement.
