He's not a striker???
Really?
Sterling has absolutely everything you need to be a striker, everything.
Right now there may be other positions that he knows better because he's played them more but definitely has all the tools to be a top class striker

Found this recently in an LFC LinkedIn group of all places.Originally posted by baronvonskidmark View PostAny news on his contract?
It seems that there are quite a few of our players' contracts running low(ish) I assume.
Henderson? Coutinho? Sahko? Sturridge? Lucas? (Surely Rodgers still wants to keep him after last night alone).
All of those must have at most 2 years left come the summer if they signed 4 year deals when they joined.
Excuse the gumpf that's written after each player but I can't be bothered to delete it.Summer 2015
Brad Jones Kolo Toure
Glen Johnson - will not take a significant cut and will leave
Suso - moving to Italy
Jon Flanagan - renewal contract not making much progress
Stevie G - moving to the US
Summer 2016
Oussama Assaidi - moving to Dubai for £4.7 million this month
Martin Skrtel, Jose Enrique, Rickie Lambert and Sebastian Coates
Jordan Henderson - New contract on offer but has not been signed
Under contract until 2017
Lucas Leiva (wants to leave but is not expected to leave in the January 2015 transfer window), Joe Allen
Fabio Borini (to be sold)
Mario Balotelli
Raheem Sterling - LFC confident that a new contract will be signed shortly
At least 3 years of the contract to run
Simon Mignolet, Dejan Lovren, Mamadou Sakho, Adam Lallana, Lazar Markovic, Emre Can, Divock Origi, Andre Wisdom
Daniel Sturridge - penned a 5 year extension to 2019
Philippe Coutinho - signed a new contract in summer 2014
Alberto Moreno - on loan at Seville but unlikely to return to LFC
Tiago Ilori - on loan at Malaga but unlikely to return to LFC

In general, his finishing is quite poor. Scuffs most of his shots, often picks wrong option when shooting. If he improved his shooting then why not. But it's a big ask to go from an average finisher to a world class one.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostIt's difficult cos he's so good at the point of a diamond, very good wide and looks potentially scary through the middle. It's very easy to imagine Sterling developing into a cross between Owen and Henry.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostIt's difficult cos he's so good at the point of a diamond, very good wide and looks potentially scary through the middle. All Sterling needs to do is continue to develop his technique so he has default finishes, like Henry opening his body up from inside left and bending it into the far corner with the inside of his right foot.
Repetition every day after training for 10-15 minutes, both sides on whatever works for him to groove his technique.
Then it becomes automatic in high pressure situations in games, where he struggles is when he has time to think, instinctive finishing he is fine with, when faced with time (which will happen a lot due to his pace) he gets caught between options so often makes the wrong decision. The King was back for a short while. at the end of the vine of brave jt's the ref walks past and gives a little stroke of someones helmet.
you'd think a truly impartial ref might question why the striker has been taken out off the ball to stop him getting the ball in a goalscoring area.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Definite thigh clench in there! Then just as he waves to the ref he gives Terry an extra squeeeeze just to keep him there.
