Good signing for me if he comes especially with our experienced players having left the last couple of seasons.

I also would think him and Henderson would make a good pairing in the middle of the park, one thing about Milner when I have seen him play he never has been bullied and stands up to other players and gives 100 % all the time.

Would think he would lift our presence on the pitch which we lack all over.

Im not sure arsenal would pay him that either. Maybe they would give him a big signing on fee instead.

For me he is a very good player. Emre Can sitting with Henderson and Milner in front of him would work very hard and cover a lot of ground. That trio would protect the back 4 well while also allowing our full backs act like wingers and support the attack.

I think money is not the object, playing time is what Milner wants and what we can offer.

I'm not a big fan of markovic, far from it, but he signed a 4 year contract I think, so surely it makes sense to see if he improves in year two? There are tons of players over the years that take time to settle. Its too short termist to give up so soon.

Agree players need time but Liverpool just gave not got any of it to spare - signing any player/ players is never a cast iron risk free case, however as we still need numbers as well as numbers that are quality I would be very keen to sell markovic for 12 , that's the most I can us getting back - then getting Milner ings & konoplyanka and have change !
That's what I call better business and adding depth but maybe that hit of quality.

Markovic will come good, no doubt about it. He got loads of talent but havn't quite settled yet and needs to be utilized better...

Gerrard out - Milner in seems the case. An experienced midfielder for another without any major wages difference or transfer fee is good businees.
