I think it depends on what you mean by DM. He could be the most destructive player in a three but I don't think he's suited to a holding role.

I agree with the attributes he has. I think he can be pretty disciplined too though. I don't think he's that weak at tackling. He could break up the play. But in terms of taking the ball off the defence and moving it on quickly and accurately, I think he'd be better than Lucas at that

Henderson is successful in the tackle if we look at him 'nicking' the ball from the opposition, but he's not strong in the challenge. I think his stamina and vision are more suited further up the field.

Well he played that position for the U21's this summer and he was useless at it.

Maybe. But it was his distribution that was awful. I lost count of the number of times he opted to hoof the ball out of play than play a simple pass. I'd much rather have Allen playing instead of Lucas if required. Otherwise, Lucas is significantly better than Henderson. You forget prior to his injury, he was THE BEST DM in europe - the stats proved it.

I think hoof is the way Pearce likes his team to play. But I'll drop the idea of Jordan at DM

He excels at quick, accurate passing too and similar to Xabi (or most Spanish TBF) is very cool under pressure which is essential in such a position.

IMO it would be a very, very big mistake and we definitely wouldn't be in the Champions league again.

If Rodgers play Henderson in DM then he should be sack immediately because it is clear that the board don't support him
