Could be a valuable squad player. He's not Zidane though ffs, he has improved no doubt as has Downing but few getting carried away as per usual. Performances had to improve...as both of their previous were ****e.

It's no coincidence his upturn in form started pretty much the day you called him a wimp though
      *Except Michael, who died.

I was jesting at your expense but since you replied......

He was ****e yes but he was and still is very young, people should really have learned from the Lucas experience. Imo he was at a disadvantage due to the fee paid, but even Lucas was abused and he wasn't overly expensive. Hendo has good qualities and I've no doubt he will be a very useful player for us for years to come, he's growing in stature and his performances are improving along with it.

I will admit though I have been scathing of his hairdo and it's still a ****ing disgrace

When Neil Young reads Dan Perkins using the third person to talk about Dan Perkins is when Neil Young realises the world has disappeared up the world's own fundament.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Ah i appreciate a good burn

Of course the fee goes against him, same as any player. Sometimes you just can't look past it Downing,Carroll,Keane etc the list goes on. Henderson wasn't good enough to be starting as many game as he did under Kenny, that was Kenny's fault.

No doubts he has improved but when everyone is fit and come the summer window IMO there is no way he'll be a regular starter. I have no problem with him as a squad player, and actually same as Downing as he is the most improved player at LFC, but if we want a mount a top 4 challenge likes of Henderson & Downing aren't good enough to be in our first 11.

In saying that, fair play to Henderson & Downing for putting the head down, have to give credit where credit is due, just the same as criticism. I'm curious as to Henderson & Downing's future as Rogers tried to sell Henderson at start of season and seemed Downing's days were numbered.

rodgers needs to get wimp t-shirts printed for all the players, and anyone who isnt **** hot in the match has to wear his for training the following week
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

I disagree with this. He's improving a lot and is contributing goals and assists as well as keeping the team ticking. He may well improve even further in the close season and next season.

Gerrard,Lucas,Coutinho,Sturridge & Suarez are all going to be in our first 11 & that's not including what we will buy in the summer. Henderson will not be a regular starter IMO unless someone gets injured or we are rotating. He not good enough for that yet.

i agree as well.... there is a lot of development still to be had with Henderson..... he has all the attributes though....

i just know that if we were to sell him to say, Newcastle Villa or Everton, we would regret it in about 3 years when he is a top player.....

With regards to Joe Allen - he is very young as well. Lets get behind him. I can see a time in the not too distant future where we have a midfield of Allen Lucas and Henderson and they won't lose the ball for the majority of games...... (too early to be drinking really isn't it!)

Sell him so. Because we don't need a squad at all..... look at Barcelona. Fabregas, Thiago Alcantera, Mascherano....none of them would be in their first 11 if everyone was fit......but they all get plenty of game time and are very valuable members of their team.....
