It's not really that impressive considering the competition, but lets not take anything away from Henderson, he's turning in to a player.

Henderson is proving more & more what a waste of a transfer Allen was. Nevermind the fee we paid but we have more than enough capable central midfielders so why waste the money on ALlen when other areas needed to be strengthened far more?

He is clearly playing well right now but if you asked me if I could see him in our strongest team in a couple of years? I doubt it, but a good sqaud player and option.

No. Not saying we needed to do that. But what I'm saying is what if us buying Allen, plus change of manager (and him not constantly playing wide right) have all had an effect on improved levels of performance

He's shown good progress. Is still young. Is a good prospect. But like with Downing, you need a bit more quality in that position if you want to push on
