Never been one to criticise Hendo. Even when he first started playing you could see there was a player there, with all the attributes needed; it was all about how he applied himself. At times he was frustrating but a lot of it was OTT and unfair.
Now he is one of the first names on the team sheet, and he has improved massively over the last 18 months. The engine this lad has is incredible
Jordan Farah
If he improves his shooting/finishing then he could easily get 7/8 goals this season.

i think this says more about last seasons lack of quality options from our bench than it does about henderson.Originally posted by Mostar View PostSame here.
Cannot imagine the starting lineup at this time without Hendo in it.
His absence in those last few games of the last season cost us dearly.
If he had played I am not so sure we would have dropped points vs Chavs and CP.
he has improved greatly, i was unsure he would ever improve. he does have the odd game were he still seems to be missing. maybe not having to try and cover for joe allen too often might help.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

The way LFC play he is essential to our setup, Gerrard rely's on him. He is a lot more confident on the pitch & seems to have made that position his own... which is great.Originally posted by EwarWoo View PostNot saying there's no room for any progress, but he is a top player already.
Not quite top top, but definitely top.
He progressed leaps and bounds last season, and takes a lot more responsibility in games. He tended to go missing and hide in games previously. He not a top player yet, he has a way to go to get that tag IMO.... but progressed nicely last season & hopefully can add to his game this season.

The energy and pressing we would get in a midfield three of Henderson, Can and Allen would be fantastic.Originally posted by danperkins View PostThe way LFC play he is essential to our setup, Gerrard rely's on him. IMO if Gerrard plays, which he most likely will.... the physical/athletic presence of Hendersons & Can would be exactly what Gerrard needs around him. I know it's very early days on Can, but he has looked impressive.Originally posted by Pablo1981 View PostThe energy and pressing we would get in a midfield three of Henderson, Can and Allen would be fantastic.
We actually have options

I think these options we have will make the team stronger than the sum of it's parts under Brendan. Henderson is a top player IMO for Liverpool but maybe not yet for England.Originally posted by danperkins View PostIMO if Gerrard plays, which he most likely will.... the physical/athletic presence of Hendersons & Can would be exactly what Gerrard needs around him. He was absolutely key for us. He linked everything together.Originally posted by danperkins View PostI suppose everyone's definition of a top player differs. Last season a very much improved player no doubts.. but for me doesn't constitute being a top player. But regardless he has improved & gets better.
For the team who came 2nd in the PL. Only due to his suspension.
