Lucas was getting tired in the last third of the match. Bar that he was excellent.

But a game is 90 minutes, playing well for 60 isn't good enough. Not at this level. Besides I saw a team under the cosh struggling to get hold of the ball, Lucas did not help retain the ball but he wasn't alone. Anyway I'm not getting down the road of blame. Sometimes, you only appreciate a player's true worth when he's not playing. Henderson's had an excellent season and he was missed on Sunday. I think he'll continue to improve and get better, over the next three or four years, especially when he's playing with and against better players (Champions League
).
