Regardless of the stats you can see he has improved by watching him play. At the start of the season i thought Henderson would just be a decent squad player for us but not much more... but he was well worth his starting place this season. Obviously, he can still improve his game.

IMO the win % is to do with someone with energy & stamina.. to clean up and cover beside Gerrard. In short, Gerrard needs legs and a energetic presence beside him. Good for the midfield to function & good for protection defensively.

Impressive season from Henderson, since Rodgers was going to ship him out the door he has stepped up his game. Rodgers has clearly put it to him & he has responded. My main gripe with Henderson was that he didn't do enough in games & didn't dominate.. this season he has done exactly that. Long may it last

He had a great season for us this year and we really missed him when he was suspended, I think he is key to how we play. Hopefully he will continue to improve and can add a few more goals to his game. The one critisism I would have of him is that he only got 4 goals (IIRC) and I think with the chances he had he should have had double that.

He's still young enough to add goals to his repertoire. He has so much going for him, he can still develop further. I think in previous seasons we played him out of position quite often. He is adaptable, but it was unfair to judge him playing out of position and at such a young age.

Thanks champ. I've often said he just needs to add a few more goals to his game to really get the recognition that he deserves. He's got a good eye for a pass.
