Gerrard spent the whole of the second half avoiding the ball and conserving energy for england duty.
Didn't show for the ball at all.
I'd like lucas and henderson partnered up and stevie playing further up then being subbed when he's ****ed.

Lucas and Henderson in the middle would offer some stability in an area we are looking a bit shady. Not sure we can sub Gerrard though for legacy reasons.

I actually thought he did well today 1st half. And I haven't rated his performances at all lately so it's not like I'm biased toward him.

Henderson is fantastic and with his attitude and professionalism is almost guaranteed to keep improving.

I'd like to see Henderson, Gerrard and Lucas rotated as the middle two. Give Gerrard a rest now and again, likewise Lucas. Thing is I just can't imagine Brendan leaving Gerrard out, ever. I'm not sure he's ever 'rotated' him out of the team. As much as Rodgers has won me over and is continually improving, I'm not sure he's got the balls to leave Gerrard out from time to time.

Yeah he's gonna need to grow a pair sooner or later but I'm sure he will. A bit of competition will be good for Lucas too I'm sure.

I think he would sell him today if he thought it was best for the club. His balls are that big IMO

We're light in midfield though. Surely this needs to be our priority area in terms of players coming in when the transfer window reopens.
