He’s quite right though and I say that as someone with a positive view of Hendo. I don’t begrudge him this move and am grateful for his 12 years of service but I also value the opportunity to hear the other point of view (no matter how much I disagree with it).

Don’t think there’s many in here praising him for the move or even acknowledging it without any caveats, we’re all pretty much on the same page I think.

More seriously, if you feel that certain sections of the board cannot tolerate opposing views then it's best to close down debate and discussion for their sakes.

If it can’t be kept civil and largely positive towards Hendo I’ll probably end up locking until it can be dealt with, people have thoughts on where he’s gone and that’s a discussion that can happen. I’ll thread ban people winding others up. I think that’s the easiest way.
