He's crap, been saying it for years. I'd play Can in place of Hendo, drop Lallana for Wij give him a chance in his proper position up front and I'd also drop Coutinho and give Grujic a try. Grujic looked good when he came in. Can't be any worse surely.

Last week people were waxing lyrical about the midfield of Henderson Lallana and Wijnaldum

Were the goals down to Henderson??

We need a holding player absolutely no doubt about that and I personally wouldn't play Wijnaldum or Lallana in the deeper positions

We threw goals away today but also our attacking players created nothing except shots from distance

Neither of our players can do that role and the way Klopp wants us to play it is bizarre that this hasn't been addressed already. Do you believe that he has the full control that he's said to be having at the club at the moment?

Has Klopp (like Rodgers) ever played with a holding midfielder? I can't think of one - he's used deep lying midfielders, but I can't think of him using a Makelele style player. I'm not saying it wouldn't be good, I just can't see him doing it.

I'm thinking perhaps Klopp thinks a dedicated holding DM isn't required in this league as it wasn't in Germany but they're completely different leagues.

Teams like Burnley don't want to play football and as a Manager you have to learn to counteract that and adapt as necessary.

As for Hendo he's certainly not a DM but I just don't think he's good enough as a midfielder for this club, we really should be aiming far better if we want to succeed and move forward.

I agree. But we are where we are. What I'm saying is, I can't see him bringing in a dedicated defensive midfielder because that's all you get from them - they're limited in what they offer the squad.

I'm not saying I agree with that, I think we could do with one - especially with limited defenders like Klavan.
