Personally I think it is very simple - he is not good enough. Yet.

Let him develop as a squaddie and give him some game time with focus on him needing to prove his worth and actually win his starting place. That normally sorts out the men from the boys.

I'm not saying he's a world class player right now, obviously he will take time to settle. Which is why Dalglish shouldn't heap pressure on him by starting him every game and having to hear fans groan at every sideways pass.

I was talking about the future. A team of 3 or so Hendersons, when having had some time to play together, has the potential of being very good. And I did say it was only a theory.

Interesting question, do you use two box to box midfielders, or one destroyer with a solid CB pairing?
He is a brick wall now, he never shirks a tackle be it with his feet or his head and he's strong too, every bit as strong as any of those above.

Viera had everything though where as Lucas, Mascherano and Sissoko haven't.

Jordan talks to fans via twitter in preparation for U21 Iceland vs England

@alpinetrail: Jordan, what does it mean to captain England at Under-21 level? What’s it like being part of the squad?
It is an honour to captain your country at any level. We have a really good squad and we are all looking forward to the game tomorrow

@shivamLM: Who is better: Maradona or Messi?
They are both great players but I’d have to say Messi as I’ve seen him play a lot more

@Ichi_insomnia: Do you think moving to Liverpool has enhanced your chances of participating at the European Championship?
I think I just need to concentrate playing for LFC and qualifying for the U21s. But I would love to play in the Euros next year.

@callummc1: Are you going to join Twitter yourself?
No I won’t be joining Twitter, I’m finding it hard enough doing this, it’s taking me ages to reply!

@Kane_LFC: Who is your best friend at Liverpool?
I probably get on with Andy and Stewy the most, probably because they’re from the north-east as well.

@James_Isherwood: What are you most excited about being a footballer in the next five years?
I’m excited to be playing for Liverpool hopefully for many years and just want to keep improving every day.

@Ethanlamptey97: How’s your time at Liverpool been so far?
I have really enjoyed my time at Liverpool. Everyone has been brilliant and I’m sure the is even more to come.

@markill: Are you concenred at your first team chances given the amount of competition for centre-midfield places in the LFC squad?
I’m not concerned cos that’s part of being a footballer. It’s how u respond to set-backs. I’ll make sure I work hard always.

@reds4us: Do you prefer playing on the wing or central?
I prefer centre but I’m always happy to play where the manager says and just want to be playing football

@XShaunaCooperX: What’s your favourite sport apart from football?
It was have to be either tennis or basketball

@sabrinaxx: Have you been watching X Factor? And will you be voting for Nu Vibe?
Yeah, I’ve been watching it, of course I will be voting Nu Vibe. I hope you’re voting for them too.

@AppleLoveMeow: Hello Jordan, do you play a game? FIFA or PES2012 like the others?
I’ve just started playing FIFA 12 with the lads and unbeaten on this trip #Kells #Josh #Flano #Waggy

@praline_tw: Who is the most hilarious in the dressing room of England U21s?
It’s got to be Henri Lansbury. He’s always joking around but he is a great lad and is playing really well at the minute.

@AnthiliaS: Have you ever played a match with Andy Carroll before you became a professional footballer?
Yeah, when we were younger we played together once or twice for Sunderland.

          Via www.facebook.com/EnglandU21s

Samuel Joseph Ball: What is your favourite thing to do outside of football?
Whenever we have a bit of time off, I always like to go back home to spend time with my family and see friends. I was back there at the weekend before meeting up with England and went for some food at Hana Hana. After we went back to my mates to watch the Tottenham-Arsenal game

Jacob Sid Greer: How much did you enjoy your loan spell at Coventry?
I loved my time at Coventry, the fans were great and it was a good place to get first team experience. I loved scoring against Norwich too!

Olly West: To date, who is the most accomplished player you have played with or against?
Playing with is Stevie Gerrard in training and on Saturday, he's such a talented player and one I can hopefully learn a lot from. Against was probably Thiago for Spain at the Euros in the summer. He was very good.

I'm glad you said "right now" because I believe whens he pushing 28 he will be world class.

Hendo is a young guy and although he hasn't set the world alight (let alone Liverpool) there is something about him that makes me believe he'll be a very classy payer in time.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson admits he prefers to play in centre midfield, but is more than happy to play wherever asked.

“Hendo”, signed from Sunderland this summer, was answering questions put to him by fans via Twitter for The FA’s official website.

Watch the video below to see what else Hendy had to say, including who gets along with best at Anfield, his unbeaten record on the new Fifa, and what The Hendington thinks of his chances of making next summer’s European Championship squad.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
