I got the train back to Liverpool today and hadn't seen that clip of him and his Dad. I was rough as ****, tired and emotional. I watched that clip on the train, sat there on my own, with tears streaming down my cheeks. What a ****ing hero he is. A worthy captain, a top player and even better bloke.

I've liked him since day one, has consistently got a tough time by large sections of the fans and just got his head down and got on with it. Whoever took the armband off Gerrard was on a hiding to nothing but he never let it affect him. With the exception of when he injured his heel and took a long time to come back to full strength, he has been totally awesome and a very reliable name on the team sheet. I am delighted for him.
I used to have Hendo would be considered World class by this year on my Signature and took a lot of stick for it and perhaps he is not worldclass but he has now captained Liverpool to 3 European finals and won the biggest one of them all. Bravo Jordan you are officially a Liverpool Legend

Taking over from gerrard was always going to be difficult for anyone but at the time there was a lot of **** options so he won it. On occasions he has looked great on the pitch as the captain and team leader, but many times his playing contribution has been sub standard but recently it has helped him and the team playing him in his more natural role thanks to the rise off fabinho.
So many are definitely wearing their rose tinted specs with all the emotional overload of the final and the league campaign.

Lots on here won't want him captain again next year but they're going to be disappointed. Imagine if he lifts big ears again next season or captains us to the league, it's odd to think there's fans that will not be happy in the slightest, solely because 'he's not as good as Gerrard was'

Whos said that? I dont think Ive ever heard anyone similar.

People complain because he has had periods of relative poor form, but he bounces back in such emphatic fashion. I dont think I currently want anyone else as Captain. VVD is doing brilliantly at the moment. Why change it?

I have always said that vvd would make better captain, but dont think klopp would change it.
Maybe if henderson had a long term period out or fell down the pecking order as we bring in new first team players...
