I wish he wasn’t brought to the pre season camp tbh- it should only be players who are committed to staying. Should send him home and announce a new captain. We don’t want him telling other senior players 700,000 reasons why he’s moving on. Salah must surely be thinking if hendo can get 700k, how much would he be offered.

I'd rather retire than join a genuinely tinpot middle eastern team.

Trying to weaken Liverpool with **** offers, knowing Newcastle and Chelsea might suffer next season if we do well and push one into 5th

If we sold both that would mean our entire midfield is u23 (apart from Thiago who is not reliable).

We would need a top class DM and an old head to replace both, imho.

We do need to. replace Fab, so that works if a teplacement is availble, albiet a couple of years earlier that his expiry date.

Hendo is harder, as we would technically need to sign a homegrown to replace him in the squad. I just think to not do so would leave our midfield looking a bit inexperienced, even if a lot of the players are quite mature.

    MacAllister is 24

Not so sure we would be so much in need of an old head over simply bringing in younger players that are good enough and with enough experience that they are capable of and eager to take responsibility.

We have plenty of other senior players within the squad that should be chomping at the bit to be the guys that the younger guys turn to for advice.

Basically everyone from TAA right up to VVD are there now in terms of being senior pros at the club who have been with us for years and been part of silverware winning teams.

Now you see the light and add to the fact that he isn’t contributing on the pitch I think it’s very much in our best interests to move him on and get new voices to point and shout
